BlackRidge Presents Zero Trust Approach to IoT Security at PTC LiveWorx19

BlackRidge at LiveWorxby Mike MIracle, SVP Marketing and Strategy

Back in March we announced BlackRidge Technology joined the PTC Partner Network to enhance industrial IoT security for connected enterprises. BlackRidge products including our cloud gateways and our TAC Identity Device (TAC-ID) are ready out-of-the-box to be integrated with PTC’s ThingWorx® IIoT platform and are available on the PTC Marketplace.

We’ve continued to progress our IoT security partnership forward with PTC, including being an Elite sponsor for LiveWorx19, PTC’s annual digital transformation event for the industrial enterprise, which will be held June 10-13 in Boston. We will be making a new product announcement at the show, and our team will speak at several conference sessions. Additionally, we will demonstrate how to segment and secure IT and OT for factory automation with a zero-trust approach to legacy and future architectures in booth #224 in the Xtropolis exhibit hall.

Through the PTC ThingWorx Ready program, we have greatly accelerated the market awareness of our IoT security offerings, BlackRidge is ThingWorx Readycapability and interoperability. Our demonstrations at LiveWorx will show BlackRidge product integrations with PTC’s ThingWorx IIoT platform and Kepware industrial automation connectivity software, and with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to secure legacy IoT infrastructure that was not designed to support the secure convergence of IT and OT networks. Our goal is to help enable secure industrial automation by addressing the concerns surrounding privacy, data integrity and cyber security risk, and help avoid any downtime and costs associated with evolving the installed base of PLCs.

Our own Michael Murray, senior vice president and general manager of cyber physical systems, and John Walsh, chief strategy and technology officer, will present on IIoT security and safety at several LiveWorx sessions:

Leading up to the PTC LiveWorx conference, BlackRidge Technology was featured in a new report from 451 Research entitled, “BlackRidge Technology leverages authenticated identity in a zero-trust approach to securing IoT environments.” We also led a webinar with 451, “Up your security game for digital transformation and IIoT.” You can view the replay here.

If you’re attending LiveWorx in Boston next week, come by our booth and say hello!
