Network Runners to Highlight Zero Trust Approach to Cyber Defense with BlackRidge at 13th Annual CDCA Defense Summit

Network Runners, Inc. a top technology consulting services company that serves the commercial and federal governments, will be exhibiting at the 13th Annual Charleston Defense Contractors Association (CDCA) Defense Summit in Charleston, South Carolina, Dec. 11-12, 2019. Network Runners will be in Booth #105 throughout the event and will also be participating in the speed networking event on Dec. 12 from 3:30-5:00 pm. At the event, Network Runners will be highlighting BlackRidge Technology’s zero trust approach to cyber defense for government agencies.

The CDCA Defense Summit is one of the largest defense-focused events on the East Coast, bringing together more than 1,000 government and industry leaders to spark ideas, innovation and solutions for technology challenges. Presentations, demonstrations and collaborative discussions will include the full spectrum of defense technologies, with particular focus in the areas of C5ISR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance), information warfare and cyber security.

Network RunnersIn addition to Network Runners using BlackRidge to protect their business from cyber-attacks, Network Runners recently deployed a similar cyber defense solution for a healthcare non-profit organization, headquartered in Maryland. With hundreds of team members spread across the local region, secure and reliable remote connectivity to their information systems is critical to their business operations. Network Runners implemented a BlackRidge zero trust network access solution to add a significant new layer of perimeter security to the non-profit organization. In the first 24-48 hour period of deployment, over 400,000 unauthorized connection attempts or attacks were discarded, which is a huge step forward in providing greater security and reliability to the organization.

“We are excited to again exhibit at this year’s CDCA Defense Summit and showcase the solutions of our partners including BlackRidge Technology and their zero trust approach to securing networks and systems,” said Manoj Bhatia, president and co-founder of Network Runners.
